Tenacious Bird of Prey is the music project of the artist Brendan O'Donnell. His creative path oscillates between devout experimentalism and hardened tradition. These diametrically opposed explorations take place rapidly, sometimes even from song to song.

With a DIY ethic and rich history in underground music ( The Blessed, Read Palms, Lo-Fi Conspiracy ) he crafts a temporal blend of Folk, Rock and Ambient Noise by deploying handbuilt instruments, custom wired guitar rigs, and invented foot pedals. These creations, combined with samplers, loops, improv and conventional instruments, create an innovative collage of trail burning songs.

Originally from North Carolina, raised on Irish Rebel Music and DC Punk, he takes his esoteric vision in to new realms in his live shows. He cut his teeth in the now legendary Greenville, NC underground scene playing house shows and skatepark shows with The Avett Bros, Future Islands and Valient Thorr.

As a touring musician he's shared the stage with Lovelife, Wesley Willis, The Aquabats, Celebration, Thrones, Dan Deacon.
